The EMA Behavioral Enrichment Committee Committee seeks to provide the EMA membership with up-to-date behavioral enrichment information. We focus on ways to stimulate elephant's minds from newborn calves to geriatric adults and everything in between. As well as adding some enrichment for our members as well.


Behavioral Enirchment Committee Goals:

  • Introducing their members to the community.
  • Submitting articles to JEMA and Gray Matters.
  • Surveying EMA members to help further direct them.
  • Updating and growing the enrichment database on our website.
  • Offering an opportunity for an EMA sponsored enrichment grant.
